Associates Tchaikovsky (he gave the first German performance of the Tchaikovsky Concerto, with the composer present).

Chamber ensembles Second violin, Joachim Quartet (1893-1907); Haliř Quartet (1893-8), with Carl Markkees, Müller, and Hugo Dechert.
